02 MayThe track will be opened by the session "Sport is a factor of sustainable partnership between Russia and the Islamic world", which will be attended by the Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Oleg Matytsin, member of the President of the Russian Tennis Federation Shamil Tarpishchev, Minister of Sports and Youth of Qatar Salah bin Ghanim Al–Ali, President of the General Sports Federation of Syria Feras Mualla, Minister of Sports of Saudi Arabia Abdelaziz Bin Turki Bin Faisal Al Saud and others.
"The relevance of the session is due to the increasing dynamics of interaction in the field of physical culture and sports between the Russian Federation and the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). It is proposed to discuss the expansion of sports cooperation between Russia and the OIC countries, holding joint events in an open format, increasing cooperation through sports exchanges," Tatarstan Sports Minister Vladimir Leonov said.
Another session of the forum is called "International cooperation within the framework of the development of digital sports in the OIC countries". It is expected to be attended by the Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of Russia Maksut Shadaev and the head of the tournament "Games of the Future" Igor Stolyarov.
In addition, the session "Meeting of the Association of Islamic Countries in Hockey (AHIS)" will be held as part of the track. The participants of the discussion will be Secretary General of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation Nasser Al Mazhali, President of the UAE Winter Sports Federation Hamel Ahmed Al-Kubeisi, President of the Hockey Federation of the Republic of Tatarstan Nail Maganov and others.
It is also planned to discuss the sports calendar plan of the Association, formulate a single line for the development of hockey in states with the leading religion of Islam for the development and popularization of hockey in the regions of Asia, the Middle East and Africa. The cooperation will allow the countries to adopt the experience gained in Russian hockey, train players, coaches and referees and gain access to training methods for young hockey players.
