The International Halal Industry Fair – Russia Halal Market - will be held in the agro–industrial park "Kazan" during the International Economic Forum "Russia - the Islamic World: KazanForum 2023". More than a hundred domestic farms and agricultural firms will present their products at the fair. The entire range will fully comply with Halal standards.
"In preparation for the Russia Halal Market, together with the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan, we held field meetings in the agro-industrial park "Kazan". Meat, dairy products, cheeses, bakery, confectionery and much more will be available at the fair. We invite everyone to visit Russia Halal Market," Rustem Gainullov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan, urged.
He stressed that farm products of the national Tatar cuisine, such as dried goose, kazylyk, horse meat basturma, kaymak (cream), sweets talkysh kaleve and chak-chak will be presented at the fair.
The opening ceremony of the fair will be attended by the Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, representatives of the Islamic clergy, guests of KazanForum.
The main task of Russia Halal Expo is to popularize the halal industry in Russia, establish trade, economic, socio–cultural ties, demonstrate the potential of the halal segment of the economy, provide an opportunity to present products to potential buyers and trading partners.
The halal direction is actively developing in Tatarstan. In the first quarter of 2023 alone, products worth $ 3 million were exported from the republic to countries such as Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Uzbekistan, China, Vietnam, the UAE, Germany, Kyrgyzstan. The main exporters of halal products are the holding "Agrosila", the enterprises "Kausar", "Vamin", "Camembert", "Essen Production", "Akulchev", "Emiz" and others. The products of these and other manufacturers can be seen and purchased on the Russia Halal Market.
