12 MayThe Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan, together with enterprises, is preparing a street exhibition at the XIV International Economic Forum "Russia — the Islamic World: KazanForum". The exhibition will occupy an area of 3000 sq. m.
At the entrance to the Forum venue, the Kazan-Expo IEC, a prototype of the domestic ATOM electric car will be exhibited, including the use of a new open domestic operating system, augmented reality technologies and autonomous movement.
"Atom impressed! I think the series will be successful," commented Oleg Korobchenko, Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, on the presentation of the prototype.
The maximum speed of the electric car is 170 km/h
Power reserve - 500 km
Acceleration to 100 km/h - 7-8 seconds
Trunk volume - 300-350 liters
The ATOM project unites IT developers, urban mobility, automakers, and domestic technologies. The first serial sales of the ATOM hatchback will be launched in 2025.
"It turned out to be a very decent gadget car in terms of design and technical characteristics, which is adapted to Russian conditions. The prospects for the development of the electric vehicle industry in Russia are huge, and this is a project worth investing in,” Oleg Korobchenko said.
As for the technologies of batteries and charging stations, on which the future of electric cars depends in principle, Tatarstan pays serious attention to this topic. In Tatarstan, together with Rosatom, the production of lithium-ion batteries is being worked out. While Atom will be put into mass production, the infrastructure of Tatarstan will prepare for this. Only in 2023, as part of the pilot program, 20 fast charging stations with a capacity of 150 kW will be built in the republic. At the moment, there are 158 electric filling stations and more than 400 electric vehicles in Tatarstan, the Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan noted.
In total, more than 20 Tatarstan companies showed up at the street exhibition at the Kazan-Expo IEC. Belarusian and Moscow companies will also present their products, which will show:
