I am sure that celebrating Eid al-Fitr will bring us closer together and provide strength for further moral development and creative work. I sincerely wish all Muslims of Russia warmth and prosperity within their families, success in their good deeds and intentions!

Rustam Minnikhanov Rais President of the Republic of Tatarstan

Blessings to all the faithful on the end of the thirty-day fast and the blessed holiday of Eid al-Fitr.

Eid al-Fitr reminds us of the inviolability of the Divine Creation and traditional values, among which one of the most important places is occupied by religious ideas about family and the sacred gift of motherhood.

Family for Muslims is not only a solemn duty, but also a way to achieve the goodness of the Lord. The Prophet Muhammad bequeathed to maintain family relationship and strengthen family ties.

This year, the capital of Tatarstan will host significant international events that will serve to strengthen cooperation between the Russian Federation and the countries of the Islamic world. I hope that they will give a new impetus to the development of friendly, mutually beneficial contacts both at the level of interstate and religious-public relations.
