Ozerov Oleg Borisovich, Ambassador-at-Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, cited figures confirming that Africa accounts for 3% of the world GDP, whereas it possesses 17% of the population. Russia plans to participate in the development of Africa (industry, electricity, industry).

MGIMO (U) MID RF is developing relations with the countries of the Muslim world. Students travel to study and share practical experience. Joint scientific projects are being developed. The study and teaching of rare oriental languages is being revived.

Legal regulation is essential in the new emerging multipolar world, which could be based on the UN Charter and, above all, unconditional respect for the principles of sovereign equality of all states.

The project office for international youth cooperation in the line of “Russia - the Organization of Islamic Cooperation” was opened in 2020 in Kazan on the basis of the youth center “Selet House”.

According to Aleksander Terentyev, over 85% of the Tatarstan population has a positive attitude towards migrants. There could be neither economic nor any other success without such mutual understanding.

Sergey Lavrov concluded, “The promotion of interreligious, intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding, consolidation of efforts to protect traditional spiritual and moral values common to all world religions, and the fight against Islamophobia are also among the unconditional priorities of Russian diplomacy”.
