Description:

At present, the vector of international cooperation has turned to the East. Section participants from India, Indonesia, and the Republic of Bangladesh voiced promising industries and areas of cooperation (tourism, oil, pharmaceutical industry, science and technology); they also noted the difficulties in developing cooperation between countries: the language barrier, logistics, the difficulties of financial intercommunication through banking channels, visa regime.

Business programs, forums and conferences of the Russian Federation in the countries of the Islamic world can serve the development of business cooperation; and successful cases were presented by the Synergy Corporation. An interesting experience in the Russian Federation was also reported to the participants presenting the whole world in one place. ETHNOMIR Park is the largest ethnographic park-museum in Russia; the architecture and traditions of almost all countries are presented on the area of 140 hectares.

The region of MENA (Middle East and North Africa) should be paid attention to on the global stage. This is a growing market which does not impose sanctions and actively develops technology in its countries. Dubai (UAE) is considered to be the capital of business activity of MENA, which is gradually turning into an international trade office. But it is important to take into account the peculiarities of the mentality and the algorithm for entering the countries of the Islamic world, where not just business-to-business relations are important, but face to face agreements.

At the end of the section activity, Memorandums of Cooperation were signed between the Russian Federation and India, the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of Bangladesh, the Russian Federation and Indonesia.
