From May 16 to May 19, Kazan will become the center of the world halal cuisine. First, chefs from 5 countries: Malaysia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Iran and Azerbaijan will develop a 3-course menu that will be integrated into Kazan restaurants. Honored guests of the forum will be able to try new products at the gala dinner, and residents and tourists of Kazan in the restaurants of the city. On May 18-19, competitions of international teams of chefs from 15 countries will be held at the KazanForum 2023 site in a tent with an area of 1500 sq.m. Representatives of Turkey, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Kyrgyzstan, Algeria, Moldova, Russia, Pakistan, Lebanon, Malaysia, Kazakhstan and Tunisia will demonstrate their skills in cooking according to Halal standards. The competition also provides for the performance of two teams representing Russian and Tatar cuisine. More than 150 participants are expected to be evaluated by internationally recognized chefs. "The Days of Islamic Cuisine will contribute to increasing the tourist attractiveness of Kazan for foreign and Russian guests," said Taliya Minullina, Head of the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan.
