Putin invites Indonesian president to KazanForum
During the Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto’s working visit to Moscow, Russian President Vladimir Putin invited him to attend the international economic forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum” in Kazan. The announcement was made by the Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugiono.
The two leaders discussed ways to deepen the Russian-Indonesian strategic partnership, energy security issues, and the supply of the Russian energy resources amid the ongoing crisis in the Middle East.
Sugiono noted that Jakarta sees Moscow as a strategic partner in economy and trade. He also noted that both countries are exploring new opportunities to strengthen their cooperation.
