First International IT Developers’ Tournament to Take Place at KazanForum
A dedicated IT area will be launched for the first time as part of the 17th International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World KazanForum” at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre. The residents of the IT Park and Innopolis companies will present their export oriented developments in the fields of cybersecurity, fintech, education, robotics, and digital solutions for industry
in Pavilion A2 from 13–15 May.
The highlight of the technology programme will be the International Fintech Hackathon CodeStorm, which will be hosted at the IT Park on 11–12 May. Over the course of 48 hours, 15 teams will fashion solutions to challenges set by partner banks. Five finalists will share a prize fund of 500,000 RUB, and the winners will be awarded right there at the Forum venue.
The IT Area’s business programme will run for three days.
13 May: Plenary Session “Global Fintech Trends”; discussions on the export of IT solutions and the introduction of technology into healthcare.
14 May: The Russian Islamic Economic Forum held by Sber. Discussions on digital technologies in sport, tourism, and Islamic finance, as well as the finals of the IT Park Global Go To Market programme, where the winners will be awarded the opportunity to undertake a business trip to Qatar.
15 May: International co operation in education; the second AAOIFI International Conference on Islamic Finance, as arranged with the help of Sber.
Furthermore, Sber’s AI assistant, GigaChat, will be debuted at the Forum to help participants navigate the Forum platform and find information about speakers and sessions in real time.
