Kazan Medical University signed an agreement with universities of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan
On May 18, 2023, Kazan Medical University signed a cooperation agreement with medical universities of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
Rector of Kazan State Medical University Alexey Sozinov, first of all, noted the serious restructuring of educational programs, the introduction of integrated education, which allows to reduce the duration of training due to practical immersion in the situation and independent problem solving.
In turn, the rector of the NAO "Semey Medical University" Altai Dyusupov said that a catalog of competencies for medical professionals, the implementation of clinical work, as well as scientific joint research was developed through joint efforts.
"So that we could complete the preparation process, we have agreed and approved an agreement on the implementation of a conscientious program of clinical work for the Tashkent Medical Academy. This is important because the population of the republic is very young, more than 30% of our population are young people under 18, and the training of specialists who give life to our youth, children who are born is one of the priorities of the direction of training medical workers," said Rector of the Kazakhstan Medical University "Higher School of Public Health" Botagoz Turdaliev.
An educational program "Double Diploma" was agreed with the Tashkent Medical Academy, which allows a graduate to become the owner of diplomas from universities of Uzbekistan and Russia in just 4 years. The students will be taught by highly qualified teaching staff of the two universities.
