Marat Khusnullin, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation: the North-South transport corridor is one of the important projects of Russia today

An agreement has been signed with Kazakhstan to synchronize work in terms of highways and transport corridors, said Marat Khusnullin at the session "Development of international multimodal transport corridors passing through the countries of Asia and the Middle East".

"In addition to the corridor "North - South", we are also engaged in the transport corridor "West - East" with exits to Mongolia and China", - said Khusnullin.

The construction of the Resht-Astara section of the North-South railroad in Iran is expected to start this year in parallel with the design.
