Venture investments are the key tool for the development of an innovative economy and creation of new high-tech enterprises. The new economic reality has made its own adjustments to the development of the Russian venture capital market. After the departure of major players, the number of transactions and the volume of investments decreased, and now the Russian venture capital market is in the process of transformation.

Within the scope of the round table, experts from venture funds, development institutions and corporations discussed the prospects, risks of the industry in order to form a holistic view of the development of the venture investment market in Russia and the world, as well as the features of the investment climate in Russia and Uzbekistan.

Turpanov Vyacheslav Leonidovich, Director, Co-founder of Prosto vc., the community of startups and investors, explained what changes are currently taking place in the venture capital investment market.

According to Renat Khalimov, the General Director of the SEZ Innopolis, the venture market is completely changing and reloading, and it is not quite clear what it will be like, but still young startups must be supported.

Anna Morozova, Co-founder of the Syndicate venture club, noted that many people now enter the venture investment market, having tried themselves this or that way in other types of investment.

Zufarov Dilshod, Chairman of the Board of the Uzbekistan Venture Investment Association, noted that the activities of the Association are aimed at promoting and attracting venture capital to domestic startup projects, training specialists in venture investment, conducting research on the venture capital investment market in Uzbekistan. He shared his opinion about the state of the venture capital market investments in the Republic of Uzbekistan and directions of its development.
