On September 30, 2024, Kazan will host “Workshop on Islamic (partnership) financing products”
The event will be organized by the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency. Talia Minullina, Head of the Agency, noted that this event is of key importance for the development of Islamic banking in the region. Experts from Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Dagestan and the Chechen Republic will discuss the interim results of the experiment on the introduction of Islamic banking, which started on September 1, 2023.
The first workshop revealed high interest and topical issues, and this year the focus will be on Islamic financing products and legislative regulation.
This event will be a significant milestone in preparation for the Kazan Forum, emphasizing the importance of Islamic financing development in the region.
