Rustam Minnikhanov meets the Amir of Qatar and the Vice President of the UAE to discuss cooperation within the framework of the Group of Strategic Vision “Russia — Islamic World”
During his working visit to Qatar, Rustam Minnikhanov, the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, met with the Amir of Qatar and held discussions with the Vice President of the United Arab Emirates on cooperation within the framework of the Group of Strategic Vision “Russia — Islamic World”.
Rustam Minnikhanov visited Doha at the invitation of the Qatari side. He had meeting with the Amir of the State of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized Russia’s commitment to fostering ties with the Islamic world and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). He extended an invitation for Qatari companies to participate in investment projects in Tatarstan , highlighting specific areas of mutual interest.
In addition, Rustam Minnikhanov had a conversation with the Vice-President of the United Arab Emirates Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. On this occasion, the Rais of Tatarstan conveyed warm regards to the UAE leadership on the occasion of the their National Day. The discussion centered on activities within the Group of Strategic Vision “Russia — Islamic World”, with both sides acknowledging the importance of the upcoming off-site meeting of the group. The representative of the UAE is among the active participants of the Group of Strategic Vision.
