The second International Hockey Tournament among Islamic countries will be held in Kazan

From May 11 to 15, the second International Hockey Tournament among Islamic countries will be held in Kazan. It will be held by the Hockey Development Organization of Islamic Countries, together with the Ak Bars hockey club.

8 men's teams will take part in the competition. As last year, athletes from other countries will come to Kazan: Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Mongolia, Iran, Lebanon, Bahrain and Kyrgyzstan. Also, the team of the Republic of Tatarstan will take part in the tournament.

More than 140 athletes will attend the hockey tournament, including visits from the leadership of the hockey federations of the ORKHIS countries.

Over 5 game days, the teams will play 20 matches on the Tatneft Arena . They will be divided into two game groups according to their level of hockey skill: A and B.

The first will feature teams from Lebanon, Kazakhstan, the Republic of Tatarstan and a mixed team (Kyrgyzstan + Türkiye). The second group will feature teams from Iran, Bahrain and Azerbaijan, as well as another mixed team (Mongolia + Pakistan). It should be noted that for the team from Baku, this event will be the first international experience of participating in hockey tournaments.

The first match of the tournament will take place on May 11 at the Tatneft Arena at 11:00. All meetings will be broadcast live on the Organization's Youtube channel.
