The acceptance of applications for participation in the anniversary XV International Economic Forum “Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum 2024” has begun.

A number of events are planned within the framework of the upcoming forum: traditional intergovernmental commissions with countries of the Islamic world, a meeting of the Strategic Vision Group “Russia - Islamic World”, an international forum of chambers of commerce and industry, an exhibition of the halal industry, a halal fair, a Muslim fashion festival, etc.

“The International Economic Forum of Russia and the OIC countries is a platform for dialogue with the aim of developing cooperation in the field of trade relations, foreign direct investment, and discussing issues of the Islamic financial system,” said the head of the Republic of Tatarstan, deputy chairman of the KazanForum federal organizing committee, Rustam Minnikhanov.

In 2023, more than 16 thousand people from 80 countries of the world took part in the forum: the CIS countries, the Middle East, Africa, South and Southeast Asia. A record number of events were held on the sidelines of KazanForum - about 200. Their result was the conclusion of over 130 agreements.
