Festival “Izge Bolgar Zhyeni” to Round Off the Cultural Programme of KazanForum 2025

A solemn event “Izge Bolgar Zhyeni” dedicated to the Day of the official adoption of Islam by Volga Bulgaria will be held in Bolgar on 18 May 2025. The celebration will be the final event of the cultural programme of the XVI International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum”.
The Event is expected to be attended by Rustam Minnikhanov, the Rais of Tatarstan, along with representatives of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, delegates from other constituent entities of the Federation, representatives of spiritual administrations of Muslims of the Russian Federation, as well as near and far abroad; delegates of Muslim communities from different parts of the country and the Islamic world, and participants of the XVI International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum”.
All museum facilities will be open during the day, and there will be an exhibition and sale of Tatarstan’s handicrafts.
