Denis Manturov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, invited Qatar to participate in KazanForum

Denis Manturov, Russian First Deputy Prime Minister, has invited Qatar’s delegation to take part in the International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World” to be held in Kazan in May. 


Manturov has been engaged in the Russian-Qatari Joint Committee on Trade, Economic, and Technical Co-operation 


During the meeting, the parties discussed bilateral co-operation in trade, investment and finance, transport and digital technologies, as well as in humanitarian projects, including culture, sports, and education. Special attention was paid to industrial co-operation in such sectors as pharmaceutics, shipbuilding, and power engineering, including renewable energy.


The Forum “Russia – Islamic World” will be held in Kazan on 13-18 May.
