Rustam Minnikhanov Featured in Traditional Charity Project “Ramadan Tent” in Moscow

Ramadan Tent is an annual cultural and charity project organised by the Spiritual Administration of Muslims (SAM) of Moscow with the support of the SAM of the Russian Federation and the Moscow Government.
Marat Khusnullin, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, and Ravil Gaynutdin, Chairman of the SAM of the Russian Federation, were also present at the event.
The Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan reminded those present of the upcoming International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum”, which will once again become an important venue for economic interaction among the States of the Islamic world.
“We have support at the federal level,” Rustam Minnikhanov said, all the while noting that Marat Khusnullin, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Government, acts as the Chairman of the KazanForum Organising Committee.
In addition, diplomatic endorsement is also provided in the organisation and holding of KazanForum.
Rustam Minnikhanov commented that Kazan was honoured to become the Cultural Capital of the Islamic World in 2026. The title was bestowed upon the city at the 13th Conference of the Ministers of Culture in the Islamic World held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
