KazanForum 2025 Will Present Prestigious Awards to Female Entrepreneurs and Philanthropists

Applications for the International Awards for Women in Business within the women’s track of the KazanForum 2025 Business Programme are still being accepted until 15 April 2025. The main goals of the Awards are to help women achieve success; promote business projects and personal brands that are key to ensuring progress in strengthening ties between Russia and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation countries; as well as promote charitable projects that improve people’s lives.
The Halal Business Woman Award recognises women who demonstrate outstanding talent, entrepreneurial spirit, innovative approaches to business, and a commitment to creating quality halal products and services. Last year’s winner was Manjulakshmi Bharathan, a designer from Qatar.
The Halal Charity Woman Award is presented in the field of charity to women who show outstanding qualities of humanity, compassion, empathy, and are ready to provide help and support to those in need. Last year the Award was given to Yulia Klepikova Babich, First Vice President of the International Association of Social Charity Funds “MOTHER”, President of the Moscow Regional Charity Fund “MOTHER”.
The criteria for evaluating the participants include: originality of projects; impact on life; drivennes; brand awareness; compliance with Halal standards in charitable and entrepreneurial activities.
“International recognition on the sidelines of the Forum’s portion that focuses on women’s initiatives and implemented projects is, among other things, a demonstration of Russia’s friendly campaign to alignment with the Islamic world through common values for the benefit of global society. In the future, the Women’s Forum will serve as a basis for achieving joint international success,” Taliya Minullina, Head of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, remarked.
One of the most intriguing parts of the programme for the upcoming International Economic Forum of Russia and OIC countries “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum” is “Female Perspective” with an Eastern prominence. The session will discuss the role of women and family in business and the global economy, as well as in charity and the development of women’s entrepreneurship. Famous businesswomen and female experts from Russia, Turkey, UAE, India, Bahrain, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and other countries have confirmed their attendance of the discussions.
