Russian Quality System Organisation “Roskachestvo-Halal” has confirmed the compliance with halal standards of the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre, where representatives of many Islamic countries will come to KazanForum in May.
“Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre (Autonomous Non-profit Organisation “Kazan Expo”) has successfully confirmed its compliance with the requirements of halal standards according to the results of inspection control conducted by experts of Roskachestvo-Halal certification body,” the report says.
It is noted that this is especially significant in the run-up-to the International Economic Forum “Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum”, which will be held in May 2025.
This certification means that Kazan Expo has the expertise needed to organise events in accordance with Islamic norms and standards, and can provide adequate preparation of premises and guest services. The staff organising the event understands the principles of halal, observes a certain dress code, etc.
“Kazan Expo’s infrastructure provides all facilities for holding negotiations, business meetings, and exhibitions as governed by the norms of Islam, which makes the venue unique for international partners,” the report adds. The XVI International Economic Forum “Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum” will be held in Kazan from 13 to 18 May.
