A meeting was held with Kubanychbek Bokontayev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to Russia. The creation of the Great Youth Consolidated Choir of the CIS Member States, the first performance of which is scheduled for 9 May in Zaryadye Park in Moscow, was considered one of the key initiatives of the Russian presidency in the CIS within the cultural sector.

In addition, Kyrgyz filmmakers were invited to contribute to the filming of a series dedicated to their overall contribution to the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

In October, the Days of Russian Culture will be held in Kyrgyzstan: there will be concerts, exhibitions, master classes, and film screenings.

Russia will continue to support Russian theatres in Kyrgyzstan. In 2025, the Russian Ministry of Culture will promote the Chingiz Aitmatov State National Russian Drama Theatre and the Arsen Umuraliev Bishkek City Drama Theatre.

Furthermore, our Kyrgyz colleagues were invited to participate in the Congress of Ministers of Culture from the countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation within the framework of the International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum” to be held in Kazan. The Kyrgyz Republic was also asked to join in on a number of international events: the Intermuseum Festival, the International Children’s Cultural Forum, and others.
