“Kazan Halal Market” Fair at KazanForum 2025

“Kazan Halal Market” Fair has been a part of KazanForum for several years and is being held on the territory of the Agro-industrial Park “Kazan”. Residents and visitors of the city visit the Fair to purchase halal products from the farmers of Tatarstan and other regions of Russia, and to participate in a cultural and entertainment programme.
This year, on 13-18 May, visitors of the Fair will enjoy daily gift raffles, performances by the singers, theatre ensembles and dancers, different master classes and many other amusements.
Special attention is given to folk craft and ethnic customs: visitors of the Fair can learn how to craft traditional toys and folk dancing (“Dance of the Soul: Unique Features of Tatar Choreography”), and chefs of Tatar cuisine restaurants will teach master classes on “Peculiarities of National Cuisine” and “Features of Traditional Holidays: from Customs to Etiquette”. Ethnic folk music ensemble “Zhomga Kon” will perform at the Fair.
Exhibition of clothing collections with elements of the traditional costume of Tatarstan will be open daily. The exhibition guides will share peculiarities of the collections and its author with visitors.
Additionally, visitors can purchase horse meat delicacies, hive products, gourds, healing herbs, tea and jams there.
Last year, 57 companies from different regions of Russia have presented their products under the brand “Tatar bazary” at Kazan Halal Market. These are producers from Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Mordovia, Kirov, Omsk and Nizhny Novgorod regions, and Chuvashia, Orenburg and Perm Krai. Moreover, 15 foreign companies from 9 countries participated in the Fair, specifically: Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Pakistan and Turkey. More than 45 thousand people have visited the Fair during active days.
All residents and visitors of the city are admitted free to the Fair.
“Kazan Halal Market” will operate from 13 to 18 May 2025 at the address: 2, Agrarnaya St., Kazan, opening hours from 8:00 to 19:00.
