Producers from 10 Countries Will Present Their Products at Kazan Halal Market

The XVI International Economic Forum ‘‘Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum 2025’’ will be held at Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre from 13 to 18 May 2025.
The International Trade Fair ‘‘Kazan Halal Market’’ will be held at Kazan Agro-Industrial Park as part of the Forum. The largest halal trading platform in Russia will offer food, clothing, accessories, beauty and makeup products, and other goods with appropriate certification from leading manufacturing companies of the Islamic world.
Over 150 companies from 15 regions of the Russian Federation, including producers and manufacturers from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Iran, India, and Senegal, as well as more than 40 thousand visitors will participate in the Fair this year.
There are more than 150 producers of Halal goods in the Republic of Tatarstan as of now, whereas about 20 of them are export-oriented.
The output of Halal products in the Republic of Tatarstan is more than 10.0 billion roubles with an annual increase of about 10% compared to the previous year. For 2024, Tatarstan’s export of Halal products totalled 14.0 million US dollars with an increase of 21.7 % compared to 2023.
Following the results of 4 months of the current year, the export of Halal products amounted to more than 8.0 million US dollars: that mainly included dairy, meat, and confectionery products. The scheduled goal on export of Halal products for 2025 is to exceed 17 million US dollars.
The key importers of Halal products are the CIS countries, Mongolia, Brazil, Iraq, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Algeria. It is planned to expand to Malaysia and Morocco as well.
The main Halal exporters are such companies as ‘‘Akulchev’’ (confectionery products); Essen-Production (confectionery products, sauces); ‘‘Agrosila’’ Holding (meat products); ‘‘Kausar’’ Agricultural Supply and Marketing (Trade) Consumer Co-Operative (meat products); ‘‘Vamin-Tatarstan’’ (butter, cheese); and OOO ‘‘MLK-GROUP’’ (COM).
Mutually beneficial relations strengthen partnership and meet the goals of the national project on export.
