Participants of the XVI International Economic Forum “Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum”

Invitations to more than 1,500 representatives of Russian business and 2,815 representatives of foreign business were sent on behalf of the Organising Committee within the framework of the invitation campaign of the XVI International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum”. Representatives of Russian and foreign official delegations were also invited. In total, more than 8,700 participants have been invited.

As of 18:00 on 14 May 2025, more than 7,000 badges for participants from 103 countries and territories, including Russia, have been issued. Abdul Ghani Baradar, First Deputy Prime Minister of Afghanistan for Economic Affairs, arrived among senior officials. H.E. Khaled Dudin, Governor of Hebron Province, State of Palestine, arrived among heads of foreign cities/regions.

Seven foreign ministers arrived, including:

• Kholmahmadzoda Soleha: Minister of Labour, Migration, and Employment of the Republic of Tajikistan;
• Hamidullah Akhundzada: Acting Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan;
• Nooruddin Azizi: Acting Minister of Commerce and Industry of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan;
• Maria da Conceição Évora: Minister of Culture, Youth, and Sports of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau;
• H.E. Fadli Zon: Minister of Culture of the Republic of Indonesia;
• Abdul Aleem Khan: Minister of Privatisation, Investment, and Communications of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan;
• Mr Yusuf Abdullahi Ata: Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development of Nigeria.

The following arrived from the OIC presidence within the leading international organisations and associations:

• Hissein Brahim Taha: Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation;
• Yousef Hassan Khalawi: Secretary General of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce;
• Ahmad Kawesa Sengendo: Assistant Secretary General for Economic Affairs of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation;
• Salim bin Mohammed Almalik: Director General of ISESCO;
• Moteb Almezani: Director General of the GCC Accreditation Centre.
