The Republican Agency “Tatmedia” Will Hold a Media Session “Media of The Future in The Present: Content and Technologies” at the XVI International Economic Forum “KazanForum”

On 15 May 2025 at 13:00 at the main venue of the XVI International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum” in the “Kazan Expo” IEC 2nd floor, hall 9 theatre. the media session “Media of the Future in the Present: Content and Technology”, which is an important platform for discussing the prospects for the development of the modern media industry, will begin its work. The event is organised by the Republican Agency for Press and Mass Communications “Tatmedia” together with the Strategic Vision Group “Russia – Islamic World”.

The event will bring together representatives of the federal and international media industry to exchange views and experiences on the introduction of the latest technologies and innovations that affect the production and distribution of content. Participants will consider the impact of modern trends, such as artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality, blockchain and digital platforms, on the formation of new formats of communication between the audience and media content producers.

The event will also include the premiere presentation of the award for active coverage of the theme of the International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum”. 

Presentations will be made by representatives of leading media industries from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Malaysia, and Iran. Speakers include:
        Abdelhamid Salhi, Director of the OIC Information Department;
        Alami Mohammed Abdrabo, Director General of the OIC Union of News Agencies;
        Wong Chun Wai, Chairman of the Malaysian National News Agency BERNAMA;
        Amged Mohamad Shawki Bishri Ahmed Osman, Senior Advisor to the Middle East News Agency and Editing Manager at the MENA News Agency (Middle East News Agency);
        Seyed Musa Kazemi, Editor-in-Chief of IRNA Investigations.

Among the speakers are also managers and deputy managers from AO Gazprom-Media Holding, AO RIS-Interfax, GBU CHGTRK Grozny, Argumenty I Fakty Publishing House.

Discussions will focus on the impact of technological breakthroughs on the quality and availability of content, the adaptation of traditional media formats to new market conditions and the experience of successful cases of applying innovations.
