The XVI International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum” has come to an end in Kazan. The number of participants and delegates on the Forum sidelines grows with every passing year, which once again confirms the importance of promoting an international dialogue between the Russian Federation and the countries of the Islamic world.

“Eight and a half thousand participants and media representatives from 96 countries, including Russia, visited the events held within the framework of the International Economic Forum ‘Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum’. We see that the foreign business community took an active part in the work of this discussion platform. The Forum has firmly established its reputation as an essential international business event for establishing economic interaction between the Russian Federation and the countries of the Islamic world. The dialogue –– engaging representatives of these countries –– will continue at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), which will take place from 18 to 21 June. The Republic of Tatarstan attends to its booth annually within the SPIEF Investment & Business Expo space, telling about the region’s investment potential across an area of more than 100 square metres to the Forum’s participants and guests coming from all over the world,” says Anton Kobyakov, Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation and Executive Secretary of the Organising Committee of the International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum”.
