Recep Erdoğan noted the high level of KazanForum and expressed respect for Tatarstan's efforts to strengthen Russia's dialogue with the Islamic world.
He stressed that Tatarstan accounts for more than 25% of all Turkish investments in Russia.
The parties discussed the growth of trade turnover, which has already reached 5.3 billion dollars. Recep Erdoğan expressed hope for continued support for joint projects, and Rustam Minnikhanov thanked for his personal attention to interregional cooperation.
The Rais of Tatarstan also held the meeting with Mustafa Varank, the Chairman of the Turkish Grand National Assembly's Industry, Trade, Energy, Natural Resources, Information and Technology Commission, and Nihat Zeybekci, Deputy Chairman of the Justice and Development Party of Türkiye, a member of the Russia–Islamic World Strategic Vision Group.
