The State Duma adopted in the second and third readings a law extending the experiment on Islamic finance for three years until September 1, 2028 and expanding the list of operations.
The development of partner financing in our country will help expand international economic cooperation and attract additional investments from Islamic states.
Currently, four regions are participating in the pilot project – Dagestan, Chechnya, Bashkiria and Tatarstan. In the future, other subjects may join the experiment, in particular, Crimea and Chuvashia.
