Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum”, Marat Khusnullin took part in the inauguration ceremony of the Rais (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan.
He noted the importance of Rustam Minnikhanov’s work in developing international cooperation and strengthening ties with Islamic countries. The Deputy Chairman emphasized that Tatarstan is now a major attraction for investors and partners from the Islamic world, that opens up new opportunities not only for the region but also for the country as a whole.
“The annual International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KAZANFORUM” is a clear demonstration of the effectiveness of this work. Year after year, it strengthens its status as a key tool for economic and cultural dialogue between Russia and the countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. You have been working on this project for many years, therefore, recognizing its importance, Vladimir Putin has elevated it to the federal level. Moreover, we see how crucial it is in today’s political climate. We are very grateful to you,” said Marat Khusnullin.
