On September 21, accompanied by Rustam Minnikhanov, Sultan Ibrahim visited Bolgar. The delegation arrived in the city along the Volga River on the A145 high-speed passenger vessel, which is manufactured at the JSC Zelenodolsk Plant named after A.M. Gorky (Zelenodolsk Shipyard).
The delegation was greeted with bread and salt, and chak-chak. The honorary guest had a sightseeing tour of Bolgar and visited the museum. According to the press service of the Rais (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan, Sultan Ibrahim was particularly impressed by the world’s largest printed Quran.
