13 October
The parties will cooperate in the field of standardization of certificates, exchange rules and procedures for their application, and jointly develop training and research programs.
Nigeria is currently Africa’s largest food importer, with wheat accounting for approximately 25% of its agricultural imports. Russia is a major supplier, accounting for approximately 18%. Mutual recognition of halal certificates will help expand Russian exports to African markets.
