The Development of the International North-South Transport Corridor will Create the Best Conditions for Trade Between Russia, Azerbaijan, and Iran – Alexey Overchuk

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, Russian imports from Azerbaijan increased by 9.5% in the first seven months of this year, reaching $742.4 million. Trade with Iran increased by 13.3% by the end of 2024, and by 11.8% in the first seven months of this year, reaching $2.7 billion.
During the meeting, Alexey Overchuk emphasized the importance of the three countries working together to create a comfortable environment for carriers, exporters, and importers within the International North-South Transport Corridor. Seamless logistics from the Barents and Baltic Seas to the Persian Gulf will create the best possible competitive conditions for trade between the three countries.
