Tatarstan is Dynamically Developing Relations with Islamic States – Rustam Minnikhanov

During the Rais’ (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan address to the State Council of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov recalled the importance of holding international forums.
“At the instruction of the country’s leadership, the Republic of Tatarstan is actively participating in integration processes within BRICS, SCO, and the Eurasian Economic Union, dynamically developing relations with partners from neighboring countries, Islamic states, China, and India. Major annual events, including the International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum”, International Forum “SPROUTS: Russia and China – Mutually Beneficial Cooperation” and others, contribute to the significant expansion of the Republic’s international economic and humanitarian ties”, said Rustam Minnikhanov.
Tatarstan continues to implement mechanisms for Islamic partnership financing. A key milestone in this direction was the decision to open an AAOIFI office in the Republic.
