The “Day of Arab Culture” was Held in Kazan

The “Day of Arab Culture” was held as a part of the “Russia-East” – “Festival of National Cultures – the Eastern Bazaar in Kazan”, organized with the support of the “Al-Hadara” Centre for Arab Culture, which has been holding this event for 20 years.
“We operate under the principle that culture can unite people. It is a culture free from conflict. It reveals the beauty and spirituality of peoples. In order to bring people together, we need to become familiar with the cultures of different nations — this is what the Centre has been doing for many years in Tatarstan, introducing the Arab culture to the Republic's population. Conversely, when we travel with students from various Russian universities to the Arab world for Arabic language internships, we always take a piece of Russian culture and share it with the people of Arab countries. I believe this is essential,” noted Al-Ammari Mohammed Saleh, Director of the “Al-Hadara” Centre for Arab Culture.
