An Agreement was Signed between the Bolgar Islamic Academy and the Egyptian University

An Agreement was Signed between the Bolgar Islamic Academy and the Egyptian University
Rector of the Bolgar Islamic Academy (BIA), Farkhat Khusnutdinov, and Rector of Al-Azhar University in Egypt, Salama Daoud, signed a roadmap. The ceremony took place during the 36th General International Conference of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs in Cairo, according to the BIA press service.

The document provides for faculty and student exchanges, joint research, and access to unique library resources. The Group of Strategic Vision “Russia – Islamic World” facilitated its signing.
The ceremony was attended by the assistant to the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan, the Deputy Cchairman of the Group of Strategic Vision “Russia – Islamic World” Marat Gatin, the Chairman of the Central Muslim Spiritual Board of Russia Mufti Talgat Tadzhuddin, the Head of the Muslim Spiritual Board of Tatarstan Mufti Kamil Samigullin.

Al-Azhar is one of the largest and oldest educational centers in the world: approximately 500,000 students from 130 countries study there today.
