Kazan Halal Market Trade Fair Opens at KazanForum

The largest halal fair has begun its work at the Kazan Agro-Industrial Park.
The official opening ceremony was attended by Rustam Minnikhanov, Rais (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan; Maxim Markovich, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Russia; Latifa El Bouabdellaoui, General Director of the Islamic Centre for Development of Trade; and Yousef Hassan Khalawi, Secretary General of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development.
"A rich selection of diverse products from Russia's regions and from abroad is on display here today. This is a vivid testament to the international interest in the halal market of Tatarstan and of Russia as a whole," Rustam Minnikhanov noted.
The Fair is open to visitors from 12 to 17 May. Opening hours: 08:00 to 19:00 daily, and from 09:00 to 18:00 on Saturday.
