Students of Architectural Universities Present Residential, Public and Educational Facility Projects at the IPM Exhibition
A special youth architecture zone was organised at the International Property Market (IPM) Exhibition and Conference, where students of the Moscow Architectural Institute (MARCHI) and Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering (KGASU) presented their works.

Future architects offered concepts ranging from mid-rise residential complexes to high-rise buildings with visual elements in Islamic traditions, as well as projects for public and educational centres, for the attention of real estate experts.

One of the most thoroughly developed projects was a mid-rise residential complex designed by KGASU student Igor Belousov. It consists of eleven buildings ranging from two to eight storeys, united by a single concept: facades made of white hand-moulded brick and fibre-reinforced concrete panels in pistachio, red-brown and white colours. The territory of the complex features wide pavements and separate playgrounds for children and adults, with the high-rise dominants supporting the established profile of the streets.

An entirely different scale was presented in the work of MARCHI students, dedicated to high-rise buildings with Islamic stylistics. The architectural image here is built on a combination of vertical tower volumes of varying heights and horizontal connecting elements, creating a multi-level structure. The facade solution unites glass planes, a metal frame and ornamentally developed decorative belts, in which motifs of traditional Islamic architecture can be traced.

Another project presented was a three-storey comprehensive school in Kazan on Dostoevsky Street, created by KGASU student Amira Khasanova. A children's music school and a children's school of arts are attached to the main school building. The authors placed emphasis on spacious classrooms with quality furniture and modern equipment, as well as on areas for free time after lessons. According to the designers' concept, the school should become not merely a place where children come for lessons, but a centre of attraction for creativity and extracurricular activities.

As a reminder, the International Property Market Exhibition and Conference is taking place on 13–15 May at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre within the framework of the International Economic Forum "Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum". This year's main theme is the use of artificial intelligence in construction.
