X Forum of Young Diplomats of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Kicks Off at KazanForum

Over the past decade, the Forum has become a recognised platform for informal professional dialogue between representatives of the foreign ministries of the Russian Federation and the member states of the OIC. It has provided a setting where young diplomats can discuss topical issues openly and without rigid protocol constraints, in a format of "horizontal" diplomacy.
This year's anniversary Forum is held under the overarching theme of "Youth Diplomacy and Intercivilisational Dialogue Between Russia and the Islamic World".
The business programme is built around four key thematic pillars: international humanitarian co-operation and intercultural engagement; "horizontal" diplomacy as a long-term strategy; the Greater Eurasian Partnership; and diplomacy in the digital age.
The Forum will take place on 13 and 14 May at Kazan Expo IEC, Cluster A. Admission is free for holders of a Forum badge.
