Kazan Hosts the 3rd International Children's Football Tournament “East Cup”

Youth sport continues to flourish in the Republic of Tatarstan. The 3rd International Children's Football Tournament “East Cup” was held at the Burevestnik Sports Complex in Kazan, bringing together 252 young footballers aged 10–11 from seven countries: Russia, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Belarus. A total of 12 teams took part in the tournament.
The award ceremony was attended by the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, who congratulated the young athletes and thanked everyone involved in organising the international event.
The tournament trophy remained in the capital of Tatarstan, with Rubin Kazan claiming the title. Dinamo Minsk finished second, while Arsenal Tula secured third place. The awards were presented by Marat Safiullin, President of FC Rubin.
Players from Rubin's first team also presented individual awards in the categories of Best Goalkeeper, Best Defender, Best Midfielder, Best Forward, Top Scorer, and Tournament MVP.
