Islamic finance and Halal industry will be the key topics of KazanForum

More than 140 different sessions are scheduled during the International Economic Forum "Russia – the Islamic World: KazanForum". The basic topics will be Islamic finance and the Halal industry, according to the draft business program submitted to the Organizing Committee.

"Using the example of Tatarstan, we strive to fine-tune practical mechanisms of interaction with Islamic business. There are great prospects for the development of the Islamic economy. In particular, the food industry is developing - halal, halal tourism, halal medicine," Rustam Minnikhanov noted.

The business program of the forum will be organized according to tracks containing from 3 to 10 sessions. The main topics of the tracks are: international cooperation, Islamic finance, Halal industry, technology, innovation, investment, industry (including shipbuilding, petrochemistry and machine tools), sustainable development, women's perspective and logistics.

In addition, conferences "Russia – Turkey", "Russia – Indonesia", "Russia – Egypt", "Russia – Azerbaijan", "Russia – Uzbekistan", "Russia – Malaysia" and "Russia – Iran" are planned at the forum.
