KazanForum to Debut New Modest Fashion Trends from International Designers

The international Modest Fashion Day show will be held as part of the 17th International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum” at the Piramida Convention and Exhibition Centre in Kazan on 13 May 2026. The Event will bring together leading designers from Russia and abroad, serving as one of the highlights of the Forum’s cultural programme.
Modest fashion is not just a current trend within the industry, but also a philosophy that reflects values, lifestyle, and cultural identity. Over the recent years, the modest fashion segment has been growing steadily, all the while shaping the global agenda and becoming a platform where tradition and modern aesthetics weave into one harmonised narrative.
The multi brand show will combine elements of folklore, traditional culture, and innovative design, thus creating a space where the past and the future meet. The participants will put a modern spin on their interpretations of modest fashion, intertwining national motifs, cultural heritage, and current global trends. The catwalk will serve as a stage for promoting professional exchange, international co operation, and the designers working in the modest fashion sector.
The Event gathered a lot of attention last year, with fashion designers from Indonesia, Qatar, Pakistan, the UAE, Oman, Tajikistan, and Russia arriving to present their collections in 2025. Among this year’s trends is an expansion of the men’s style line up, aimed to further incorporate the concepts of restraint and elegance into contemporary menswear.
“2026 Modest Fashion Day will continue to evolve as an international platform for advancing the industry, and will constitute an important part of the KazanForum cultural programme, illustrating Kazan’s role as the heart of intercultural dialogue and fashion innovation. The catwalk will feature collections by designers from Malaysia, Indonesia, Morocco, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, as well as the Russian cities of Kazan, Ufa, and Chelyabinsk,” Taliya Minullina, a member of the Forum’s Federal Organising Committee and Chief Executive of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, commented.

Admission to the Event will be by invitation only, as issued by the Organising Committee. For more information, please visit the Forum’s official website.
