KazanForum Trade Fair to Feature Products from over 100 Russian and Foreign Companies

The Fair participants will include manufacturers from Afghanistan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, India, Saudi Arabia, and Sudan, as well as leading Russian enterprises. Visitors will be presented with a wide range of halal products: food, confectionery, clothing, cosmetics, accessories, and everyday goods.
The Organisers note that all products on display will undergo mandatory checks
for compliance with Halal standards. Prior to the opening, an audit of raw materials, products, premises, and equipment has been conducted by the relevant specialists. The Park site will be completely free of any non Halal products for the entire duration of the Fair.
The halal industry market in Tatarstan continues to show steady growth. By the end of 2025, the volume of halal production in the Republic stood at 354.4 tonnes,
worth 149.1 billion roubles. Exports of halal certified products reached $45 million,
an increase of 3.2% compared with the previous year. The international trade exceeded $16.5 million just in the first four months of 2026 alone. Dairy, meat, and confectionery products form the bulk of these overseas supplies.
The CIS countries, Iraq, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Mongolia, and Brazil are the key importers of Tatarstan’s halal products. Moreover, some countries in South East Asia
and North Africa express their interest in the Republic’s output as well.
Tatarstan today is known as one of the leaders in the Russian halal industry. A robust sector of producers has been established across the Republic, advancing the meat and dairy products, confectionery, convenience foods, beverages, and processed goods markets.
The companies: Akulchev; Essen Production; the Agrosila holding; the Kausar Agricultural Production Co operative; and Vamin Tatarstan are amongst the Region’s largest exporters.
The official opening of the Kazan Halal Market will take place on 13 May at 10:00,
having such prominent figures as Rustam Minnikhanov, Head of the Republic of Tatarstan; Yousef Hassan Khalawi, Secretary-General of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce
and Development; and other distinguished guests of KazanForum between its participants.

of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, commented.
