The head of the Republican Agency for Press and Mass Communications, Aidar Salimgaraev, invited participants of the International Media Forum in Saudi Arabia to the forum “Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum 2024”.

The large-scale forum in Jeddah was attended by international religious leaders of various faiths and cultures, ministers of information, members of UNA news agencies, international media from America, China, Europe and Russia, the General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and permanent delegates of the OIC.

At the forum, Aidar Salimgaraev shared his experience of creating a friendly environment in Russia using the example of Tatarstan. He noted that the republic is a region with a rich history, unique cultural heritage and highly developed economy.

“Currently, the media are the driving force for the harmonization of interethnic relations and increasing the level of tolerance in society. That is why media cooperation in modern conditions is in no way inferior to the diplomacy of states,” the head of the Republican Agency for Press and Mass Communications is confident.
