New projects will be presented during the discussion.

The Session will be attended by representatives of the Russian Government, Presidential Executive Office, regional authorities, transport companies, as well as by foreign colleagues from transport authorities of Iran, Turkey, Pakistan, Bahrain, Afghanistan, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Qatar, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan.

Representatives of the Caspian Five nations (Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Turkmenistan) will share their developments and accumulated experience on practical measures and tools aimed at monitoring and management of transport corridors during the panel discussion “Transport Co-Operation Amongst the Caspian Bordering Countries”.

“Regarding the international agenda, we prioritise the development of infrastructure along the entire length of the International North–South Transport Corridor; the expansion of geographical spread of shipping operations; as well as the elaboration of a legal framework for transporting goods. Our colleagues from the countries that maintain INSTC routes contribute to this work as well. We also assign importance to transport co-operation with the Caspian bordering countries and countries participating in the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA). We continue to collaborate on the development of road routes and international road transportation, as well as on the introduction of digital solutions into transport logistics,” Roman Starovoit, Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation, stated.
