On September 15-17, 2021, Kazan will host the first XXIV Global TCI Conference in the CIS. The event will be held in a hybrid format combining face-to-face participation with virtual components.
TCI NETWORK, Barcelona, Spain - is the leading global network of key organizations and practitioners with competencies in cluster policy and competitiveness development of high-tech companies (110 stations, more than 9000 experts). In order to organize TCI Global Conference cities and regions have to defend the right to be called an outstanding city or region in the field of competitiveness, innovation and cluster policy.
INNOCAM Association, with the direct support of the Agency for Innovative Development of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, held in November 2018 in Kazan a regional conference under the TCI brand - IV International Conference "Partnership for Cluster Development", which was a prerequisite for participation in the competitive procedures for the right to host the 23rd TCI Global Conference in 2020. The conference received high feedback from international experts and allowed winning the right to hold the Global Conference in Kazan. TCI Global Conference has not been held in Russia and CIS before.
The event was to be held in Kazan in October 2020. However, due to the implementation of measures to combat COVID-19 throughout 2020, the 23rd TCI Conference was held in online format, and in Kazan with the management of TCI Network agreed to hold the 24th TCI Network Conference on September 15-17, 2021.
Leading researchers and practitioners in the field of innovation and cluster development, representatives of clusters and cluster organizations, authorities responsible for the development of cluster policy from Russia, as well as invited foreign experts are planning to participate in the Conference.
The XXIV World Conference TCI-2021 will be held under the motto "Creating a sustainable future in partnership" and will become a platform for discussion of cluster initiatives, innovation support, human potential development and realization of circular economy principles. The program is based on the unique 3C concept (Cities - cities, Collaboration - cooperation, Circular economy) and includes a business part, acquaintance with the objects of innovative economy of Kazan and the Republic of Tatarstan in the format of cluster tours, as well as a cultural program. The working language of the event is English, the reports of the business program will be accompanied by simultaneous translation into Russian.
Currently, representatives of more than 25 countries have announced their participation in the Conference, including ministers of the Eurasian Economic Commission, management of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, KPMG, Coca-Cola, DIDI, MEGA Shopping Center, Tatneft, Gazprombank, Skolkovo Foundation, International Fund for Technological Development, Strategy Partners Group, and representatives of the Government of the Russian Federation. In order to ensure the necessary security measures the number of participants of the Conference events is limited - 350-500 people (including online participants).
