Halal Product Exports from Russia Have Increased by 32% This Year
Over the eight months of this year, Russian halal product exports increased by 32%. Poultry supplies increased by 51%, frozen beef – by 26%, and lamb – by 19%. This was reported by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.

The main importers of Russian halal products are Iran, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. Throughout 2025, they account for approximately 90% of exports. The Ministry highlights Southeast Asian countries, particularly Malaysia and Indonesia, as promising destinations.

The halal market is considered one of the fastest-growing segments of the global food market. Total demand is estimated at $1.4 trillion annually and is expected to reach $2 trillion by 2027.

In Russia, turnover in this segment exceeds 1 billion rubles, and over 500 enterprises produce halal products.
