Tatarstan - UAE: Applications Open for the “Friends” International Youth Camp

Applications are now open for the Friends International Youth Camp, an international programme for young people from the Republic of Tatarstan. The camp will take place in Abu Dhabi from 27 October to 3 November, offering educational lectures, interactive workshops and networking events. Participants will have the opportunity to develop their own international cooperation projects while gaining first-hand insight into the culture of the Middle East.
Applications for the online selection stage are open until 20 July via the official website: https://youth-camp.ru/. Applicants must be between 14 and 17 years of age and submit a video introduction in English. Priority will be given to candidates with proven experience and achievements in community and public engagement.
Candidates who successfully complete the first stage will proceed to online testing and interviews with experts, which will be held by 7 August.
From August to October, the selected participants will take part in a comprehensive training programme to prepare the Tatarstan delegation for the camp.
The initiative aims to strengthen ties between the Republic of Tatarstan and the United Arab Emirates by fostering shared values and empowering a new generation to develop joint projects and international initiatives.
The project is organised with the support of the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Academy of Youth Diplomacy, and the Movement of the First youth organisation of the Republic of Tatarstan.
