Within the "Sustainable Development" track of the XIV International Forum "Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum" a press-conference "Diplomacy of the new multipolar world" was held, where the development of the circular economy in the Russian Federation, the role of the circular economy in achieving global climate objectives, the circular economy in the UAE, in Iran and other issues were discussed.
Dmitry Tetenkin, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, spoke about the role of waste paper collection in the circular economy. "Regarding waste paper, as far as I know, there is a "League of Waste Paper Recyclers," which is a participant in the circular economy. From their words, 75% of the boxes are the main packaging, which is used, among other things, in the retail trade and is produced from waste paper," shared Tetenkin.
