The OIC Young Diplomats Forum at KazanForum was attended by 30 participants from 20 countries

Delegates came from the CIS, Africa and Asia, said Konstantin Kolpakov, chairman of the Council of Young Diplomats of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

"Over 250 people have passed through the forum in recent years. Each of them is an acting diplomat, they influence foreign policy decisions in their country. This year we launched the secretariat of the international association of young diplomats on the basis of MGIMO - this is a concrete result of the work. This contributes to the formation of a long-term friendly atmosphere," Kolpakov said.

The topics for discussion at this year's forum were the directions that will be relevant in the next few years. Among them are digital and IT-diplomacy.
